NEWC 2026 June Launch Event

The Northeast Energy Workforce Consortium (NEWC) officially launched in Albany, New York, bringing together energy industry leaders from across New York, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.

The inaugural event marked an exciting new chapter for the region’s energy workforce. Leaders from the energy industry joined representatives from P-12 and higher education, government, nonprofit organizations, and workforce development to connect, collaborate, and build partnerships focused on the future of the energy workforce.

As part of the Center for Energy Workforce Development’s (CEWD) national network of energy industry workforce consortia, NEWC is now part of a growing network spanning more than 20 states.
